Deprecation of Classic Dashboards from DCC 6.0

As part of the ongoing platform improvements, Classic Dashboards are being phased out in favor of Next-gen Dashboards.
Classic Dashboards will remain available for now but will receive only limited support going forward.

What does “deprecated” mean? In our context, deprecated means that the feature is still available for a transition period, but it will not receive bug fixes, improvements, or new functionality. After a certain period, the feature will be discontinued and may be removed entirely, and in any case it will no longer be supported.

Changes in DCC 6.0​

With the release of DCC 6.0, one of the adjustments introduced is:

  • The Classic Dashboards menu will be hidden for companies that are not actively using Classic Dashboards.
  • For companies created after the 6.0 release, the Classic Dashboards menu will be hidden by default.
  • Companies that still require access to Classic Dashboards can manually enable the menu.

Note: These changes affect only the visibility of the Classic Dashboards menu.
All existing functionality and endpoints remain fully available and continue to work as before.

This adjustment is intended to encourage adoption of Next-gen Dashboards while maintaining access to Classic Dashboards where necessary.

How to Show or Hide Classic Dashboards​

A new checkbox has been added to the company configuration. This setting controls whether the Classic Dashboards menu is visible to all users within that company: Hide or show Classic Dashboard checkbox on company

Note: A page refresh is required for the change to take effect.

When creating a new company, the display of Classic Dashboards must be actively selected during setup:

Note: This setting can always be updated later on the company details page.
