New Features

IG-2351 Introducing the Inuatek DCC mobile app

Release notes

The new Inuatek DCC mobile app provides technicians and operational users with secure access to machine dashboards and alerts while on the move.

The app is available for iOS and Android and uses the same user account and access rights as the DCC platform. After the initial login, users can access the app using the biometric authentication supported by their device, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or Android biometrics.

Key capabilities include:

  • View Next-Gen standard and Fleet dashboards
  • Receive DCC alerts as mobile push notifications
  • Open the relevant dashboard directly by tapping a notification
  • See the affected device and the dashboard period associated with the alert
  • Use supported remote-access widgets, including VNC and WebVisu
  • Interact with supported two-way dashboard widgets
  • Mute mobile notifications when required

When an Alert Group or Quick Alert has been linked to a dashboard, tapping the push notification opens that dashboard directly and provides the relevant context around the alert trigger time. This allows service technicians to move from notification to investigation without first navigating through the DCC platform.

The app is focused on dashboard viewing and operational interaction. Administrative and configuration interfaces remain available through the regular browser-based DCC platform.

With the 7.1 release, the app will be publicly available through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

IG-2372 Favorites for faster access to key menus and elements

Release notes

Users can now mark frequently used DCC elements as favorites using a star symbol, making it faster to access the devices, dashboards, fleet dashboards, alert groups, Data Refinement Groups and reports they work with most often.
Favorite elements are clearly indicated with the star symbol in the menu and can be filtered with a dedicated Favorites toggle, so users can quickly reduce the view to only the items that matter to them. This is especially useful in larger installations where many devices, dashboards or reports are available.
Favorites are saved locally in the browser. This means they are specific to the browser and device being used, and they will not automatically follow the user when switching browser, changing device or resetting browser data. However, this also allows users to keep different favorite views for different working situations, for example one set of favorites in the desktop browser and another set in the mobile app.
For fleet dashboards, a single favorite can also be used as the preferred default when opening the fleet view. In the mobile app, favorites will help simplify the experience by focusing the user on the most relevant dashboards and elements by default.
Users can also select a preferred default menu to open after login, for example Data Viewer, if that is where they normally start their work.

IG-2398 More precise searches across device and data trees

Release notes

Tree searches now support multiple search terms and exact-match filtering, making it easier to locate specific devices and sample points in large installations.
Separate multiple terms with commas to require all terms to match. For example:
[Device1, Temperature]
This narrows the tree to entries matching both Device1 and Temperature.
Quotation marks can be used for exact matches:
[Device1, "Temperature]
The enhanced search is available in the Next-Gen Dashboard, IoT Administration, Data Viewer, and Data Refinement Group trees.

IG-2406 Synchronized Scaling for List, Table, and Event Widgets

Release notes

A new option, Sync scale with other tables, has been added to the List widget, Table widget, and Event widget. When enabled, widgets of these types can automatically align their content scaling with each other, making it easier to create dashboards with a consistent visual appearance across table-based widgets.
For the List widget, the option is available under the List menu. For Table and Event widgets, it is available under the Table menu.
When synchronization is enabled, the widget with the fewest rows will typically define the shared scaling. For List widgets, the number of rows is determined either by the selected data sources when Dynamic rows is enabled, or by the manually configured row count when Dynamic rows is disabled. For Table and Event widgets, the number of rows is based on the available table content or the number of events in the selected time period. If there are more rows than can be displayed, the widget will show a vertical scrollbar.
In many dashboard layouts, the List widget will often become the decisive widget for scaling when included in the synchronized group. The List widget also includes a Font size setting, which is set to Auto by default but can be changed to a specific pixel size. When a List widget is the decisive widget, synchronized Table and Event widgets will follow the List widget’s font size setting.

IG-2438 Open the relevant dashboard directly from an alert

Release notes

Alerts in an Alert Group can now be associated with a specific Next-Gen Dashboard.
Recipients can open the selected dashboard directly from the link in an email alert or by tapping the mobile push notification. The dashboard shows the affected device and the relevant period around the alert, providing immediate context for investigating what happened.
The link uses the Dashboard Report functionality and therefore expires according to the existing report-link rules. Dashboard links are not included in SMS notifications.

IG-2444 Configure Change Limit for SiteManager data collection

Release notes

The SiteManager Simple Configurator now supports the ChangeLimit parameter when Only save on change is enabled.
This makes it possible to define how much a value must change before a new sample is stored or transmitted. The available values and validation follow the constraints supported by the SiteManager.

IG-2447 Filter for FREE license in the License Management

Release notes

The License Management tree filter function now includes an "Attachment" section, where you can filter for Attached and Unattached devices. This is convenient for getting a quick overview of available licenses.

IG-2449 Save Audit Log filters as favorites

Release notes

Frequently used Audit Log filter combinations can now be saved as named favorites.
Saved filters can be selected later to restore the complete filter configuration and refresh the log accordingly. Favorites can also be renamed, deleted, or marked as the default view to be applied automatically when the Audit Log is opened.
Saved favorites are stored for the current browser profile and therefore do not automatically follow the user to another browser or device.

IG-2453 User and system events are now separated for clearer log overview

Release notes

We have improved the structure of event logging in DCC by separating user-driven actions from system-generated events.
The previous Audit Log has been redefined as the User Audit Log, making it clearer that this log is intended for actions performed by users, such as configuration changes or administrative activity.
A new System Event Log has also been introduced for events generated automatically by DCC, such as license expiry, auto-renewal, alerts, alarms, and scheduled system activity. As part of this change, license-related system events have been renamed for better readability. For example, Expire is now shown as Expired, and auto-renewal events are shown as Auto Renewed.
Alert events are now also included in the logging structure, improving traceability and making it easier for administrators to understand when important system-generated events have occurred.
For individual license logs, both user actions and relevant system events, such as Expired and Auto Renewed, are shown together to provide a complete license history. To keep this view simple and focused, the previous filter dropdowns have been removed from the license log, as the combined log is expected to remain short and easy to review.

IG-2458 Live data view added to IoT Configuration

Release notes

The Live view button is now available from the IoT Configuration page, as well as on the IoT Status page.
After installing or updating a device configuration, configurators can open the Live view to verify that data is being received and that the reported values look correct. This provides a clearer and more detailed validation view than the previous embedded line chart.
The Live view displays sample-point data only and does not include events.

IG-2466 Option to hide the dashboard time picker

Release notes

Dashboard designers can now hide the time picker through the dashboard settings.
When enabled, users cannot change the configured time window and will only see the period defined by the dashboard designer. This makes it possible to provide dashboards with a fixed scope while reserving flexible time selection for other dashboard offerings or user tiers.
The Revert button remains available, allowing users to reset temporary interactions such as zooming within charts.

IG-2469 License Activity Log added to the company Activity page

Release notes

The Activity page in IoT Administration now includes a License Activity Log for the selected company.
The log shows license-related system events, including when licenses are created, attached, changed, or otherwise updated. This gives distributors and company administrators a consolidated view of both the current license status and the actions that led to it, without requiring them to open the separate System Event Log.

IG-2470 Synchronized Font Scaling for Label, Value, and Clock Widgets

Release notes

A new option, Sync scale with other labels, has been added to the Label widget, Value widget, and Clock widget. When enabled, widgets of these types can automatically align their font scaling with each other, making it easier to create dashboards with a consistent visual appearance across text-based widgets.
For Label and Value widgets, the setting is available under Font. For the Clock widget, it is available under Type and applies only when the Clock widget is set to Digital.
When synchronization is enabled, the widget with the most text content will typically define the shared scaling. This ensures that widgets with longer labels or values can determine a suitable font size, while other synchronized widgets adjust accordingly.
The decisive widget’s own font size setting is also taken into account. If the decisive widget uses Auto, the synchronized widgets will follow the automatically calculated scaling. If the decisive widget uses a fixed font size, that setting will be reflected in the synchronized scaling behavior.
In normal dashboard view, scaling is applied automatically. When editing dashboards with many widgets, it may sometimes be necessary to refresh the browser window after changing settings before the updated scaling is fully reflected.

Release notes

A Quick Alert can now be linked to a specific Next-Gen Dashboard.
When configuring the alert, the relevant dashboard can be selected in the same way as for Alert Groups. This gives service technicians direct access to the appropriate dashboard from the generated alert, making it easier to investigate the affected device and condition.

IG-2474 Device shown in dashboard reports

Release notes

Dashboard reports now display the device they relate to.
The device is shown in a disabled Device selector, making it easy to identify the relevant machine when opening a dashboard from an alarm link or when viewing a downloaded report outside DCC.
The selector is fixed to the report’s device and cannot be changed.
Note that if the dashboard includes data sources from different devices, the field will just indicate "IoT Device"

IG-2480 Use Data Refinement data directly in Line charts

Release notes

Data from a Data Refinement Group can now be added directly to a Next-Gen Line-chart widget without first adding the corresponding raw data source.
This simplifies chart configuration when only the refined values are needed and avoids displaying or configuring an unnecessary raw-data series.

IG-2481 DRG Multi prefill: Make the fields editable

Release notes

Data refinement group multi-prefill data management enhanced. Users can now edit existing fields, in addition to adding and deleting them, providing greater flexibility and control over data configuration.

IG-2483 Next-gen dashboard: introduce data refinement group data for Gauge widget

Release notes

Introduced DRG data support, aligning it with the Value widget functionality for a more consistent and unified data integration experience.

IG-2493 Consumption Reports Now Show Recently Renewed Licenses

Release notes

Consumption reports have been updated to make subscription invoicing easier and more reliable.
A new column, License Last Renewed Date, has been added immediately after License Next Renewal Date. Recently renewed licenses are highlighted in orange, following the same visual indication already used for licenses that are about to be auto-renewed, making it easier to spot subscriptions that should be invoiced..
This applies both to automatically generated monthly reports and manually generated reports, including reports generated before month-end or for previous periods.

IG-2496 Exclude default translations from Pie-chart widgets

Release notes

Dashboard designers can now choose to exclude default translations when configuring a Pie-chart widget based on a Data Refinement Group.
When enabled, values represented by the default translation are omitted from the Pie chart, allowing the visualization to focus only on specifically translated states or categories.
The underlying calculations remain unchanged; the option only controls which values are displayed in the chart.

IG-2512 Enable color customization for custom icon line charts

Release notes

Custom icon colors on line charts are now fully customizable! Fixes the previous limitation where custom icons were locked to a single color.

IG-2527 Simple Data Source Assignment for Custom ECharts Widgets

Release notes

Custom ECharts widgets now include a Simple View that allows dashboard designers to connect data sources through a form-based interface, without editing JSON.
Although these are technically based on the ECharts chart engine, they are not limited to conventional charts. The same custom widget framework can be used to create:

  • Line, bar, pie, and other charts
  • Gauges and meters
  • Tank-level indicators
  • Status and value visualizations
  • Other custom graphical widgets supported by ECharts

For each supported series or data entry, the Simple View lets you:

  • Select one of the data source aliases added to the widget.
  • Enter a static value where required.
  • Review or adjust the corresponding series name.
  • Switch freely between Simple View and Advanced View without losing changes.
For straightforward widgets where each series maps directly to a data source, adding another data source can also automatically create a corresponding series based on the existing widget structure.
The Simple View is limited to data source assignment. Structural and visual configuration (such as visualization type, axes, colors, thresholds, series order, or other ECharts properties) must still be handled in the Advanced JSON editor.
This makes it easier to create reusable custom widgets that customers can connect to their own data without requiring JSON or JavaScript knowledge.
More details about custom widgets are found here: https://documentation.inuatek.com/docs/how-to-custom-widget

IG-2529 Improved MQTT connection recovery for Ewon Flexy

Release notes

The automatically generated Ewon Flexy script now provides improved recovery if the MQTT connection is interrupted.
If several consecutive data transmissions fail, for example, during a temporary network interruption or a restart of the DCC MQTT broker, the script automatically restarts the connection process and continues attempting to reconnect until communication is restored.
This prevents the Ewon Flexy from remaining disconnected and removes the need to manually reboot the device to restore data transmission.

Bug Fixes

IG-2459 UI issue on Activity Page with multiple expiring licenses

Release notes

Improved Activity page responsiveness when displaying many expiring licenses by adding scrolling support to the expiring license list.

IG-2465 Next-gen dashboard line chart: Interval field returns UTC time instead of local client time

Release notes

Resolved an issue where the time options -> interval value incorrectly returned UTC time instead of client time. Fixed unexpected behavior with interval fields during period selections to ensure consistent display.

IG-2471 Fixed flickering in stacked Event widgets

Release notes

The Event widget no longer flickers when displayed in stacked view.
Previously, the widget could repeatedly resize itself because of its overflow and scrollbar behavior. The stacked view now remains stable when displayed or resized.

IG-2475 Auto-renewal licenses are given one month too long period

Release notes

Fixed an issue where auto-renewed billable licenses were granted an extra free month. Expirations are now accurately set to 23:59:59 on the last day of the anniversary month. This update has also been applied retroactively to active licenses.

IG-2476 Reduced file size for PDF dashboard reports

Release notes

PDF reports generated from dashboards are now significantly smaller.
Previously, some dashboard reports could produce unnecessarily large PDF files, making them slow to download, store, and share. The PDF generation process has now been optimized to reduce the file size while preserving the report content and visual quality.

IG-2482 Units now shown for raw DRG values in Picture widgets

Release notes

The Picture widget now displays the configured unit when showing the raw value from a Data Refinement Group.
Previously, the unit was shown in Value widgets using Show raw data, but omitted from Picture widgets using Raw value. Both widget types now display the value and unit consistently.

IG-2484 Fixed login loop when accessing DCC through multiple portals

Release notes

Users can now access DCC through different instance URLs or integrated portals without being caught in an authentication redirect loop.
Previously, signing in through more than one DCC entry point, such as directly through DCC and through an integrated platform like SweetConnect, could trigger an endless login redirect. Authentication sessions are now handled correctly across separate Keycloak clients.

IG-2494 Duplicated Data Refinement fields now propagated to devices

Release notes

When a field is duplicated within a Data Refinement Group, the new field is now automatically propagated to all devices using that group.
Previously, the duplicated field was created in the Data Refinement Group but was not made available on devices to which the group was already attached.

IG-2495 Reliable navigation when creating or editing users

Release notes

The user creation and editing dialogue now uses guided navigation through the Next and Back buttons.
The section shortcuts at the top of the dialogue have been disabled, as skipping directly between sections could prevent company access information from being loaded and cause changes not to be saved.
Users must now complete each step in sequence, ensuring that required information is validated and all selected settings are available when the user is saved.

IG-2498 Unauthorized access when trying to access an inherited fleet dashboard.

Release notes

Resolved an "Unauthorized access" error on inherited dashboards. The issue occurred when the fleet map widget automatically tried to fetch a location field that the user didn't have permissions to access.

IG-2511 Name in Create Company Dialogue box is interpreted as form for certain password managers

Release notes

In some password managers, the Company name field in the create company dialogue, is interpreted as a normal form fill name. This has been changed, while the remaining fields, such as email, phone etc. may still be interpreted as forms fields. This is WAD.

IG-2518 Fixed sample-point selection in Next-Gen CSV reports

Release notes

The sample-point selector in Next-Gen CSV reports now works correctly as a multi-select field.
Previously, users could only select all sample points or none. Individual sample points can now be selected as intended, allowing the CSV export to include only the relevant data.

IG-2522 Correct sorting by latest edit in Alert Recipient Groups

Release notes

Sorting the Alert Recipient Groups list by the Last edited column now correctly orders the groups by date and time.
Previously, selecting this column could produce an incorrect order that appeared alphabetical, causing recently updated groups to be placed among older entries. The column now sorts chronologically as expected.

IG-2524 Clearer closing option in Dashboard settings

Release notes

The Cancel button in Dashboard settings has been renamed to Close.
Changes to Dashboard settings take effect immediately, so the previous Cancel label could incorrectly suggest that changes would be discarded. The new label makes it clearer that closing the dialogue does not undo changes already made.
