New Features

IG-2182 Indicate the name of the report in the email

Release notes

A scheduled report will now include the report name in the email subject, which makes it easier to identify a specific report. The subject will state "Your report <report name> is ready"

IG-2206 When deleting a company a modal now shows all objects preventing deletion

Release notes

Before you would get errors when trying to delete a company still containing objects. Now a modal will list all the objects that should be deleted before the company deletion will be effectuated. The only exceptions are devices that will automatically be deleted, following an extra confirmation, and users, which, if present will be notified by a "failed to delete company" message

IG-2217 Fleet support for IXON Remote Access Using the IXON API

Release notes

The support for remote access to VNC and Web devices from a Next-gen dashboard have been extended with support for dynamic selection of device and support for fleet management. This means that a widget with an IXON Agent defined will automatically search this agent for the new device selected. Note that dynamic switching of target agent (without requiring login) when switching device for the dashboard assumes the login credentials on the IXON cloud is the same.

IG-2227 Ability to attach a license to a device directly from the License Mangement menu

Release notes

It is now possible to attach a license to a device directly from the License Management menu, by either right clicking the license in the tree, or via the tree dots in the main window. Note that it is not possible to attach a license already applied to a device without first un-attaching it. Also it is not possible to attach a license to a device that already have a license attached. In this case you must first explicitly un-attach the current license in the devices under IoT Status in the IoT Administration menu.

IG-2231 Only include first email in the Company email list for Email notifications

Release notes

For a Company you can enter multiple emails (delimited by semicolon), which will all receive reports and notifications for this company. Before all these emails would be included in the footer with the address in such emails. Now only the first email listed for the company will appear in the footer to avoid confusion about the contact email.

IG-2232 Ability to add an extra data source for a table value

Release notes

It is now possible to add multiple data sources to table columns for use in equations.
Note the following constraints:
1. As previous, you cannot make equations across table values. I.e. if you add two table values they get the aliases “a” and “b”. If you add an extra data source to the first, it also gets alias “b”. So when defining "a + b" for the first table value, the aggregation will be within the same table value.
2. If the data source is already selected, it cannot be selected again, neither for a new column nor an extra added data source. I.e. you cannot list TempA and TempB and the total of TempA and TempB in the same table.

IG-2261 Add additional mqtt events for better troubleshooting for users when connecting new devices

Release notes

Added a new real-time Device Testing feature to DCC, allowing users to view and validate incoming events without page refresh. The feature provides live event messages and sample point values in a view, making it easier to troubleshoot data format and configuration issues during device setup. The function is activated by the button "Run test" found under IoT Status.

IG-2233 IXON Cloud logger messages to appear in the IoT Status Event table

Release notes

In relation to IG-2261, added the IXON CloudLogger error messages as events in IoT Status.

IG-2234 Assign dashboard users on the Nextgen overview

Release notes

Admins can now manage dashboard access directly from the Nextgen dashboard overview via a “Manage Access – <Dashboard Name>” modal. The modal lists all users with access and clearly differentiates between direct and inherited access, supports searching/filtering, and allows adding or removing direct user access. Before saving, a preview shows which users will be added and removed, and Save is enabled only when changes have been made.

IG-2246 Implement Tree Structure in Alert Groups Page

Release notes

The Event Trigger Groups page has been updated to use a hierarchical tree view instead of the previous flat list table, improving clarity and navigation when working with nested group structures. The new view supports expand/collapse and a standardized tree component with a clear visual hierarchy, and existing Event Trigger Group data has been migrated to fit the new structure.

IG-2256 Add Sample Point Selection to Dashboard CSV Report

Release notes

When generating a Dashboard report, it is now possible to select which sample points to include in the report. This allows you to filter out irrelevant data for the recipient.

IG-2257 Allow privileged dashboard users to manage recipients for Reports applied to devices

Release notes

Privileged dashboard users and privileged dashboard designers can now enter Configuration Schema for a device, and edit the recipients for the reports added by an Administrator. Note that only individual emails can be edited, while Recipient Groups can not be altered. This allows an Administrator to still force control email recipients independent on the editing by privileged users.

IG-2258 Support CSV Decimal Separator in Reports and Dashboard

Release notes

It is now possible to specify the decimal separator for numerical data in the report to either period or comma. A warning will assure that you do not use comma both as CSV separator and decimal separator. Note that if opening a CSV directly in MS Excel, Excel will attempt to guess the contents of cells automatically, which could result in varying result depending on contents (e.g. 11.59 may be interpreted as time, while 11.62 may be interpreted as a decimal value, since 62 is not valid time value), so it is advised to always import CSV rather then opening directly.

IG-2259 View devices using a report in report overview

Release notes

Now in the Reports menu, the number of devices that the reports is applied to are listed. Clicking the number will give you a list with the names of devices, which you can click to be brought to the specific device.

Bug Fixes

IG-2183 Omit report in queue confirmation email for scheduled reports

Release notes

Scheduled reports also generated a "your report is in queue" message. This makes little sense for scheduled reports, where users typically do not wait impatiently for it. Now only immediate triggered reports generates a report in queue message.

IG-2212 SMS messaging does not work in some countries

Release notes

SMS delivery in some countries may be affected by new local Sender ID regulations introduced after our initial SMS setup, which can result in messages not being delivered or being modified even though the configuration is correct. This currently applies to Italy and Turkey in particular: Italy restricts alphanumeric Sender IDs to specific eligible/registered entities and otherwise replaces them with local numeric Sender IDs, and in Turkey our alphanumeric Sender ID (Inuatek) has now been registered to restore delivery. Because Sender ID and SMS delivery rules can change over time and vary by country, SMS should be used with care for critical alerting and alternative channels should be considered.

IG-2216 Sub-company user blocked from removing inherited DRG on their machines

Release notes

Fixed an issue where a sub-company admin could not remove an inherited DRG from a machine after attaching it, resulting in a 403 Access denied response due to overly strict authorization logic. The access check has been updated so sub-company users can remove inherited DRGs from machines they manage within the inherited scope.

IG-2245 The map widget is not reflecting the new position when the device is changed.

Release notes

When using GPS coordinates from a Data Refinement Group, and you switched between devices, the map would zoom in to the original position. Now when switching device, the map will zoom to show the entire route for the selected period for that device

IG-2254 NextGen dashboard, in some cases dashboard has unsaved changes when opening it

Release notes

Sometimes when opening a Nextgen dashboard it will prompt to save changes also if no changes were made. This has been fixed

IG-2262 Admins with devices having inherited DRG sees it as Unnamed DRG

Release notes

A company with an inherited dashboard using a Data Refinement Group, and that DRG is not explicitly added to the company, would still see the DRG on the device it is applied to, but with the text "Unnamed Data Refinement Group". Now such a DRG is not shown for the device. Note that is per design that only DRGs explicitly added to a company will be shown on a device and shown as inherited in the DRG menu for admins in that company. If a DRG is only inherited to the company via a Next-gen dashboard folder, the DRG will be used, but not visible to the company admins.

IG-2266 Subcompany with inherited DRG that inherit it to another subcompany, cannot see the inherited DRG in Company details

Release notes

Before if a company B had inherited a Data Refinement Group from company A, and company B further inherited that down to sub-company C, company B could no longer see this DRG for neither devices it is applied to, nor in Company settings for company C. This has been fixed.

IG-2267 If a company adds a Data Refinement Group located in the same company, to their own company, it appears Inherited

Release notes

A company was able to add a Data Refinement Group to their own company under Company details. This would make the DRG appear inherited, but there will then be no parent DRG (marked with chain symbol). Now, DRG in own company not be selectable for inheritance as this is a superfluous action, as it is always available for the company owning it

IG-2291 Samplepoints are not loaded when selecting Collector for Data Refinement for a device

Release notes

In Configuration Schema when selecting a Data Refinement group and attempting to map a raw translation to a non-prefilled Collector and Samplepoint, it was only possible to select the Collector; the sample points were not loaded for the Collector. This has been fixed
